On Friday October 30th at 7PM EST, Kanoon hosted a very important virtual discussion led by Councilmember Amir Farokhi, who represents Atlanta’s District 2, and Mr. Hooshyar Afsarzadeh of the National Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This event provided insights to the civic duties of voting and the obstacles that stand in the way of those duties.
